3rd Annual Riding for a Reason Bike Ride

The 3rd Annual Riding for a Reason bike ride will be held on Saturday, July 19th in Wheeling, WV to benefit Young Life of the Upper Ohio Valley. There are five routes to choose among: 20, 40, 66, 80 and 100 miles. The entry fee is waived if you raise more than $50. The top three fundraisers will win a free bike, a laptop computer or an ipod (respectively). Fundraisers that raise more than $250, will get a 3-month membership to Centretown Fitness, a cool bike jersey and other items.

Even if you're not interested in riding 100 miles (or 20), you can participate by volunteering for the event or just become a fundraiser to win one of the great prizes. Volunteers will get an event t-shirt and be a part of a growing annual event held in Wheeling and supporting a great cause.

All the information (registration, volunteer forms, etc) is on the website at www.ridingforareason.org.

Please note that the price for ride is only $30 until June 15th. $40 until July 17th. If you wait to register the day of the event, the price will be $50.

Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions about the ride/website or you can send an email to ridingforareason@gmail.com.
