Pre-registration by May 20th is $25 per person. Registration the day of the tour is $30. The family fee is $10 for each additional family member to a maximum of $50.<br />

Children under 12 are free with a registered adult and there must be a registered adult per child.<br />
<br />
There will be multiple rest stops with snacks and water provided. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 250 pre-registered.<br />
<br />
Cyclists will choose one of three distances. Cyclists riding 10 and 25 miles will remain on the trail. The 100km (62 miles) ride will follow Heritage Trail to the new section of the Brooke Pioneer Trail and leave the trail in Wellsburg for a hilly loop through Bethany and West Liberty with a stop at Bethany College.<br />

Participants will return to Heritage Port for lunch and entertainment. The tour will take place rain or shine!<br />

Each stop will be sponsored by businesses and community groups and provide snacks, drinks and entertainment for the riders. The ride is configured to allow cyclists to complete segments if they do not feel comfortable riding the entire route.<br />

The registration fee ($25 before August 1, 2011, $30 after) includes an official 2011 “Long Street Tour” t-shirt (if you register by August 1) and wristband along with drinks and food at designated rest stops, plus a free lunch at the hospitality tent.<br />

This would jeopardize future connector North as well. We have until July 16 to write to them.<br />We're asking supporters to write, using your own words to hold a public hearing that might prevent their permit approval. Your letter should mention: regarding permit number U-181-83 <br />and ask the DEP to authorize a public hearing that will allow citizens to voice their concerns and hopefully block permit approval. There are five routes to choose among: 20, 40, 66, 80 and 100 miles. The entry fee is waived if you raise more than $50. The top three fundraisers will win a free bike, a laptop computer or an ipod (respectively). Fundraisers that raise more than $250, will get a 3-month membership to Centretown Fitness, a cool bike jersey and other items.<br /> <br />Even if you're not interested in riding 100 miles (or 20), you can participate by volunteering for the event or just become a fundraiser to win one of the great prizes.
